Going High follows the story of Tasha, a seventeen-year-old girl, and her friends. It begins with Sherice, a teen mother, telling the group of girls that having a child is what makes a real woman. Each girl in the group has a different idea of what makes a girl a woman, but the consensus is that the act of having sex is what makes someone a woman. Tasha is the only one in the group who seems skeptical about Sherice’s message.
